At Sigma, the product improvements we invest in aim to deliver a flawless experience to our user base. We understand that your time is valuable, and analyzing risk data for customer due diligence can be cumbersome. In the latest Sigma release, our engineers have made updates to improve data organization in order to save you time and improve your workflows.
Accurately identifying which risks are relevant across a large portfolio of entities or individuals, within a vast global media network, is a huge task. Especially when individual adverse media events are being covered by multiple news outlets. Sifting through the data can create added work.
The latest Sigma product release groups together adverse media articles and presents them to the user as a group of articles nested within one risk “event”. What you see is a single event, what you actually have is consolidated context from multiple sources across the globe.
We observed that, on average, 11% of all news articles could be rolled up into a single event with two or more articles mapped to it, reducing the time it takes to review your adverse news alerts and increasing efficiency across your team.
Sigma users can access detailed information on companies being investigated, as well as entities directly and indirectly associated with companies being investigated. These associations can be easily reviewed in the Sigma UI and API. In this product release, associations have been modified to expose more granular relationship types than previously possible.
Additionally, within the list of associated entities, you can now easily filter all PEP and Sanctions risks of using a checkbox filter.
Detailed user reports are important to ensure that Sigma users maintain the records they need to meet internal policies and regulatory demands. Sigma’s recent product release provides updates to reporting features, including organization based on actual user decisions.
You will now see matches organized as true matches, accepted risks, and marked not a match. The new reporting format also makes it easier to download, if needed for internal record keeping.
