Prior to joining Sigma360, Paola served as Product Owner, AI Agents and Transaction Monitoring at Hawk. She previously held anti-financial crime roles at N26 Bank, including Anti-Financial Crime Manager and Senior Anti-Financial Crime Investigator, where she developed deep expertise in banking operations, regulatory risk frameworks, transaction monitoring, and investigative workflows.
Paola’s areas of expertise include domain and regulatory knowledge, banking and financial services operations, requirements translation, and risk framework alignment. She holds advanced certifications in KYC, transaction monitoring, counter-terrorist financing, and anti-money laundering, including ACAMS KYC Advanced, ACAMS Transaction Monitoring Advanced, ACAMS Counter-Terrorist Financing, and Basel Counter-Terrorist Financing. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Banking and a Master’s degree in International Business Administration.
